These terms cover your use of this website and any purchase you make here. By placing an order you agree to them. They are written to be read, not skimmed, and they are short.

Orders and payment

Prices are in US dollars. The price you see at checkout, plus any shipping and tax shown there, is what you pay. We may correct pricing or listing errors before an order ships, and if we cannot fulfill your order at the price shown we will cancel it and refund you in full.

The product

How To Play is a card game and booklet for grown-ups to play with children ages 2 to 7. It is meant to be used together. Play is supervised by an adult, and an adult decides what is right for their own child.

Intellectual property

The How To Play name, the Four Walls of Play framework, the card text, the booklet, the illustrations, and everything on this site are owned by Jeremy Mace and protected by copyright and trademark law. You are welcome to play the game as many times as you like, talk about it, and share photos of it. You may not copy, reprint, or sell the cards, the booklet, or the artwork.

Reviews and photos you share

If you send us a story, review, or photo, you give us permission to use it in our marketing, with your first name and your children's ages if you include them. Tell us if you would rather we didn't, and we won't.

Limits

We make How To Play with care, but we cannot promise it will suit every family or every child. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any claim connected to a purchase is limited to the price you paid.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Aiken County, South Carolina.
